St John’s is a happy school with a family-like feel and our core purpose is to ensure that all children in our care have the opportunity and support to achieve their full potential. The children’s wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do, developing academically and socially in our friendly environment which offers safety and security whilst nurturing confidence and independence.
We have a dedicated team of staff who are committed to providing excellent education and we try to provide as many curriculum enrichment opportunities as we can so that the children have the opportunity to enjoy their time in school, and to develop a love of learning.
We welcome children from all faiths and backgrounds and we celebrate the unique gifts of each child. Living out the Gospel values and Catholic Social Teaching is very important to us; we want each child to be the best they can be and to contribute positively to society in the future.
The staff and governors of St John’s, encourage an open and supporting partnership between home, school and parish so that together we can help each child to develop in a happy, safe and caring atmosphere.
